Healthcare facility located East of Redding, CA is looking for an Interim MDS Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Resident Assessment Instrument process, including Minimum Data Set, 3.0 assessments, Care Area Assessments, and interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with CMS, CDPH, and federal regulation. The MDS Coordinator must coordinate each assessment with participation of the interdisciplinary team and collaborates with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, activities, and business office staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of assessments under OBRA and PDPM. This role ensures clinical documentation supports MDS coding, reimbursement accuracy, quality measures, and skilled level of care while maintaining compliance and supporting resident outcomes.
