About The Position
A healthcare facility near Bozeman, MT is seeking an Interim HIM Manager to join their health information management team! This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with a pay rate of $70/hr. The role oversees daily Health Information Management (HIM) operations, ensuring accurate medical record documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely release of information in a rural healthcare setting. The manager will also manage medical record workflows, conduct chart audits, support coding and documentation improvement initiatives, and collaborate with clinical staff to maintain data integrity and optimize departmental performance.
Requirements
- Must have 2 or more years of Health information management experience
- Must have 2 or more years of medical coding
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in rural healthcare preferred
