About The Position
Branford High School is seeking an Interim Head Girls Soccer Coach for the Fall 2026 season. The position is open until filled, with a start date immediately after the position is filled. The coach will be responsible for leading the girls' soccer program during the fall season.
Requirements
- Possession of a 5-Year Coaching Permit.
- Experience in coaching soccer at the high school level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Ability to manage a team and foster a positive athletic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Branford High School Girls Soccer program for the Fall 2026 season.
- Ensure compliance with all school, district, and league regulations.
- Develop and implement effective training and game strategies.
- Mentor and guide student-athletes.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
Benefits
- Stipend per the Collective Bargaining Agreement: $6,485.00 (pro-rated through the end of the season).
