About The Position

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice Mobile Resource Pool is seeking a passionate Interim ED Manager to join the team at one of our Trinity facilities. This role involves assisting with day-to-day ED department operations, overseeing physicians and staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position is located at a rural PPS hospital with an average daily census of 20-30 patients and annual ED visits of 9,200 - 9,800. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with one ED physician per shift working 12-hour shifts. The total hospital employees are 205.

Requirements

RN Compact State License
BLS; ACLS; PALS; TNCC
BSN
Minimum 5-years clinical experience in ED
Prior management experience required
Epic experience

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day ED department operations such as overseeing operations, physicians, staff, etc.
Oversee trauma coordinator and ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance within the department.
Completes schedule and timecards; manages UKG and PTO requests and all timecard duties, etc.
Holds daily huddles with ED department
Manages patient complaint follow up, Midas incident reporting, etc.
Manages and oversees quality assurance projects and quality initiatives in the department.
Participates in Newton Leadership Team meetings
Works with other ancillary department leaders to on process improvements
