About The Position

Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a leading advisory firm who is seeking an experienced Interim CFO Advisory Consultant to support critical financial reporting and close activities during a short‑term engagement. This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional who can quickly step in, enhance processes, and support leadership and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for the board of directors
• Prepare lender compliance statements at required intervals
• Develop, enhance, and support the month‑end close process, including:
• Preparing and reviewing reconciliations and calculations
• Reviewing and/or posting journal entries
• Managing the month‑end close checklist and close calendar
• Assist with implementing percentage‑of‑completion accounting policies
• Support third‑party purchase price allocation efforts, as needed
• Review and understand customer invoicing procedures, including standard terms, cash receipts, and collections practices, to ensure appropriate standards and controls are in place
