About The Position

The Intercompany Runner/Receptionist will scan all necessary documents into the scanner with a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy which will include filing as assigned by management. They will deliver daily to another auto dealership. Answer calls and greet customers on showroom floor and assist our service department with filing claims to vendors.The ideal candidate has experience with scanning, and he or she must be detail-oriented and proficient with filing and the ability to answer calls and greet customers in a professional manner. Making daily deliveries will require this person to have a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Requirements

  • Must have a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office Skills.

Nice To Haves

  • No experience required but a PLUS!!
  • Automotive Dealership experience a PLUS!!
  • Service and hospitality industries experience a PLUS!
  • Previous retail and customer service experience preferred.
  • Bilingual is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct all incoming calls according to all company policies with exceptional phone skills.
  • Direct phone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary.
  • Take written messages for occupied personnel an notify them as soon as possible about pending messages.
  • Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
  • Address customers' concern and issues or escalate them as needed.
  • Help with clerical/office tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, sending bills, answering phones, order supplies, etc.
  • Scan all necessary documents into the scanner with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Filing as assigned by management.
  • Drive to other auto dealership to deliver deals, deposits, inventory jackets, etc.
  • Greet customers in the showroom floor.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information at all times.
  • Answer service department telephone calls and direct the people to the best suited person to take the call and take message for person when not available.
  • Assist Service Department submit paperwork to external companies for claims payments.
  • Assist the Service Department to contact customers when their car is ready to be picked up.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
