About The Position

The Interactive Team is a dynamic in-arena team responsible for bringing high energy and excitement to Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies home games at Scotiabank Arena and Coca-Cola Coliseum. This role involves engaging fans through various interactive activities, creating memorable experiences, and professionally representing MLSE and its teams. The team aims to enhance the fan experience by fostering excitement, passion, and enthusiasm throughout the games and special events.

Requirements

• Available to work at least 60% of Toronto Maple Leafs/Marlies home games.
• Energetic, outgoing, dedicated, charismatic, and reliable.
• Able to take direction and show initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible to work weekday shifts as early as 5:00 pm, as well as weekends/holidays both day and/or evening shifts until the end of the games.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience performing in front of crowds/audiences is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of hockey and Toronto Maple Leafs/Marlies is an asset.
• Being the “LOUD” friend is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Bring excitement, passion, and enthusiasm to all Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies home games as an energetic and engaging entertainer.
• Wow and engage fans through cheering, chanting, tossing giveaways, skits, and other interactive elements.
• Rally and engage fans at home games and special events, uniting the crowd with an outgoing and engaging personality.
• Lead crowd cheers, distribute giveaways, and facilitate other fun interactive games, activities, and moments, while being comfortable on camera.
• Set up, execute, and tear down intermission promotions, and in-game and event-related equipment (signage, props, etc.).
• Professionally represent the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies, and MLSE.
• Provide friendly and informed responses to service-related issues and inquiries.
• Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies, including working in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
