About The Position

The corporate office of Express Employment International is seeking an Interactive marketing Specialist to join the team. This role is responsible for administering and optimizing content across the company’s corporate websites and email marketing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and user engagement. This role involves working within a content management system (CMS) and email marketing platform, applying SEO best practices, collaborating with marketing and design teams, and analyzing site performance. Additional responsibilities include managing cookie compliance for websites, producing monthly email newsletters, and maintaining existing email marketing templates. This position sits within our Oklahoma City based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

Requirements

  • Functional knowledge of UI/UX design principles -- Understanding of information flow, readability, and interface usability
  • Functional knowledge of content management systems or ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledgeable in search engine optimization and web analytics to enhance website visibility and performance and ability to analyze website and search data
  • Understanding of AI-powered search technologies including how artificial intelligence enhances search relevance, personalization, and user experience
  • HTML5 coding experience, including experience in building responsive frameworks and knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Proficient in communicating effectively to support stakeholders and provide strong customer service
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Working knowledge of image editing software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating and managing digital content
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in using project/work management software to track and manage tasks

Responsibilities

  • Administer website content updates, ensuring alignment with brand standards and marketing goals within the CMS
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and technical teams to support campaigns and initiatives
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain site integrity and user experience
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics to inform content strategy
  • Manage cookie compliance for all websites under the Express Employment International family of brands
  • Provide expertise on the setup, design and configuration of all corporate websites under the Express Employment International family of brands
  • Conduct regular audits of existing websites and landing pages and recommend design and structure changes to improve user experience and visibility
  • Create and distribute monthly marketing emails within the email marketing platform
  • Write content for monthly email marketing and website email (currently “Digital Dispatch”) to franchise users
  • On a monthly basis, review and update existing email marketing templates provided to Franchisees
  • Create new email templates as needed
  • Provide assistance with other email newsletters as needed
  • Apply SEO/AEO best practices to ensure website content and metadata are optimized for online searches to help achieve high rankings in search engines and drive traffic to company and franchise websites
  • Upload image files to image library in the CMS, including updating existing images
  • Create content modules in Global Content for corporate websites
  • Remove outdated images, files, and content modules
  • Serve as a systems administrator for the project management system used by the Marketing and Communications department
  • Review, convert and monitor department projects in platform
  • Communicate with project owners about necessary updates and any changes to the platform
  • Conduct training on platform functionality to new and existing users
