About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a part-time Inter City Fleet Driver/Transporter in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves driving rental vehicles between locations, including rental sites, maintenance facilities, and designated lots, according to operational needs. Drivers transport vehicles safely and efficiently to help ensure cars are available where customers need them and support a positive customer experience. The position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Regular on-site presence is required; the job cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on operational needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to support fleet operations and vehicle availability.
• Follow established driving standards and safety procedures.
