About The Position
Pulmonary Consultants & Wellness Center is seeking an experienced ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC to join our pulmonary/critical care team for a full-time daytime position at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. This role is available to cover a maternity leave and offers the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Current ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC certification
- Active DEA license
- Minimum 1 year inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospital setting preferred)
- license in California
- DEA license and furnishing number (if applicable)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Hospital-based pulmonary, critical care, internal medicine, or acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient pulmonary and critical care services
- Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
- Participate in daily rounds and care planning
