About The Position

CenterPointe is seeking an experienced and driven mental health professional to join their team as an Intensive Outpatient Counselor (IOP)/Outpatient Substance Use Counselor. This role is crucial in providing pivotal, industry-leading behavioral health services to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Experience working with persons with co-occurring issues
• Active PLADC or LADC licenses in the State of Nebraska

Responsibilities

• Work positively as a team member within the outpatient services, alongside a team of professionals who are providing pivotal, industry-leading behavioral health services to those in need
• Lead Intensive Outpatient group sessions
• See individuals in the outpatient setting
• Utilize experience and education to expertly assess and treat program participants
• Work with the individuals in service and the treatment team to continuously adapt each individual's treatment plan to reflect his or her changing needs, strengths, desires, and preferences
• Conduct initial comprehensive assessments, ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, and complete associated documentation
• Rely on your professional background and knowledge, while being open to learning new therapeutic methods and philosophies of treatment to stay on the leading edge
• Maintain our agency's high standard of care in working with consumers in a dual-diagnosis, long-term treatment program
