Provide community-based mental health support to children and families in Dare County as an Intensive In-Home (IIH) Qualified Professional (QP), working directly in homes, schools, and community settings. Manage a caseload of up to 12 youth and families, delivering structured interventions aimed at reducing crisis events, preventing out-of-home placement, and improving daily functioning for children with behavioral or emotional needs. Your work directly affects whether children remain safely at home or require higher levels of care. Across your caseload of up to 12 families, success typically shows up as: Fewer behavioral crises at home and school, Improved school attendance and stability, Reduced emergency interventions and hospitalizations, Increased caregiver confidence in managing daily routines, Stronger coordination between family, school, and healthcare systems. The focus is practical: helping families build skills they can use outside of sessions so stability continues between visits.
