Serving Tustin, Santa Ana and other surrounding communities, Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. Our surgeons are supported by state-of-the-art robotics.
Requirements
- Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- AHA Basic Life Support
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- One (1) year previous critical care nursing experience or completion of a 6-week critical care training course

Responsibilities
- Provides specialized nursing care to acutely ill and medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced therapeutic interventions.
- Utilizes expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, critical care therapies, and evidence-based practice.
- Assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive patient care throughout the continuum of treatment.
- Works collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Serves as a patient advocate while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Benefits
- 12-hour shift = 8 hours at base rate. Hours over 8 in a 12-hour shift are 1.5x base
