About The Position

Bridge Defense seeks a highly qualified Intelligence Planner to support Joint Staff J25 at the Pentagon in a full-time, on-site role focused on integrating intelligence capabilities into strategic and operational planning efforts. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence national defense planning through campaign development, crisis response, and intelligence integration while working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Joint Staff or COCOM
  • Knowledge of the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System
  • Ability to work independently, meet short deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and develop and maintain relationships across the IC, DoD, and partners
  • Ability to facilitate planning, prioritization, and synchronization of client activities to achieve effects that gain and sustain military advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in intelligence planning, or 6+ years of experience in intelligence planning in lieu of a degree
  • TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years)

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification; or Intelligence Planning Certifications such as JAWS, IPC I, or IPC II Certification

Responsibilities

  • Support developing and coordinating key lines of effort focused on the problem set
  • Build POAMs, determine projects’ objectives and scope, schedule and assess projects' success, facilitate working groups, communicate with senior leadership, and leverage skills in analytic or planning methodologies
  • Employ intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD
  • Develop campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
  • Assist with red teaming, and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process
  • Find faster, better ways for the agency to work together
