About The Position

Intelligence Management Specialist – Spanish Interpreter/Translator A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered. Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Intelligence Management Specialist – Spanish Interpreter/Translator to support our government client.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of two (2) years of experience
Spanish fluency
Ability to pass translation test from foreign language into English at ILR level 3 or higher.
Fundamental knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office suite and internet tools.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities

Provides full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist Foreign Liaison officers responsible for leading and managing intelligence security cooperation efforts.
Provides language translation support, document reviews, assistance with responses to staff requests, preparation of correspondence and other documents, and support to Key Leader Engagements.
Responsible for correct format, grammatical structure, punctuation, clarity of expression, word usage and maintenance of the concept and intent of the original text.
Reviewing and revising work upon completion of the translation.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
