About The Position

This is a nightshift position for an Intelligence Analyst at the Terrorism Screening Center (TSC) for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Vienna, VA. A Top Secret clearance is required to apply. The role involves applying analytical techniques to assess threats, intelligence reporting, personal identifiers, and biometric data, and drawing logical conclusions. It also requires understanding management principles and administrative processes, and effective communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with staff. The analyst will extract, analyze, and synthesize intelligence data from multiple sources to support threat analysis and screening operations, consistently applying complex guidance and standard procedures.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required
• Bachelors degree required
• Must be adept at Microsoft Office products
• 2-8 years work experience required depending on background
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to extract, analyze, and synthesize intelligence data from multiple complex sources
• Ability to consistently apply complex guidance and standard procedures

Responsibilities

• Apply both qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to aggregate, assess, and analyze threats, intelligence reporting, personal identifiers, and biometric data, and draw logical fact-based recommendations and conclusions in accordance with TSC Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
• Understand management principles and administrative processes, including communication channels, record-keeping, correspondence routing, and organizational structure.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present findings, ask probing questions, and collaborate with staff to gather mission-critical information.
• Extract, analyze, and synthesize intelligence data from multiple complex sources to support threat analysis, screening, and support for TSC Unit Operations.
• Consistently apply complex guidance and standard procedures, and perform additional assigned duties as needed.
