About The Position

COLSA Corporation is seeking an Intelligence Analyst, Journeyman in support of Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) in Quantico, VA. This role involves developing intelligence products on the Information Environment (IE) to support Information Operation (IO) planners. The analyst will provide intelligence support for detailed planning, execution, and assessment for various IO elements, including PSYOP, Civil Affairs (CA), Signature Management (SIGMAN), OPSEC, and MILDEC. The position requires creating analytic products and reports that detail threat nations' strategic interests, goals, and their IE-related capabilities and efforts. A key responsibility is identifying adversarial individuals, organizations, and systems involved in information collection, processing, protection, and projection to gain an advantage over Fleet Marine Forces. The role also supports the development of IO concepts of operations, concepts of support, and IE-related targeting, and makes recommendations on analytical tools and processes for IE analysis and IO assessment. The analyst will assist government personnel in crafting Requests for Information (RFI) and help IO planners identify, analyze, and characterize information campaigns, including their source, content, audience, methods, and desired effect. Additionally, the position supports identifying strengths and weaknesses of IE relevant actors, assessing vulnerabilities and opportunities, and evaluating the effectiveness of adversary, friendly, and neutral operations in the IE. The analyst will also contribute to developing IE battlespace awareness capabilities to support information power and advantage, coordinate with external agencies, support the identification and assessment of key actors, understand actor behavior based on external influences, analyze and evaluate information for trends and threat implications, and prepare briefings and Ad-Hoc Reports.

Requirements

  • Journeyman level intelligence analysis experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop intelligence products on the Information Environment (IE) in support of Information Operation (IO) planners.
  • Provide intelligence support to detailed planning, execution and assessment for OIE, i.e.: PSYOP, Civil Affairs (CA), Signature Management (SIGMAN), OPSEC, and MILDEC.
  • Provide analytic products and reports that portray threat nation’s strategic interests and goals as well as their IE-related capabilities and efforts to achieve those goals.
  • Identify the adversarial individuals, organizations, and systems that collect, process, protect, and project information for the purpose of generating Information Combat Power that leads to an advantage over Fleet Marine Forces.
  • Provide intelligence support to the development of IO concepts of operations, concepts of support, and IE related targeting.
  • Make recommendations on analytical tools and processes that assist in IE analysis and IO assessment.
  • Assist Government personnel in crafting coherent, detailed, and comprehensive Requests for Information (RFI) for submission across the Intelligence Community.
  • Assist IO planners to identify, analyze, and characterize information campaigns, to include the source, content, audience, methods, and desired effect.
  • Assist IO planners to identify IE relevant individuals, organizations, and systems for the purpose of identifying their strengths and weaknesses and make recommendations regarding our vulnerabilities and opportunities.
  • Assist IO planners to effectively assess the effectiveness of adversary, friendly, and neutral, operations, activities, and actions in the Information Environment (IE).
  • Assist IO planners to develop the capability to establish, monitor, and maintain an IE battlespace awareness that supports the generation of information power and advantage.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and operational forces in support of daily operations.
  • Support identification and assessment of key relevant actors within an assigned area.
  • Understand how key actors within an assigned area may behave as a result of actions by other local, regional, and international actors.
  • Analyze and evaluate information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications associated with the IE.
  • Prepare and present briefings on assigned area of responsibility.
  • Develop and submit Ad-Hoc Reports.
