More information is available at https://www.crisis24.com/careers Position Overview: Under the general direction of the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) Intelligence Manager, the Intelligence Analyst will support the programmatic and administrative needs of client programs. The analyst will work directly with the Intelligence Manager and EIS team members to implement and execute tasks as they relate to the client’s integrated risk management and global security program. The analyst will be located at Crisis24’s Annapolis office and the role is currently hybrid, based on a 24/7 shift schedule. Evening, overnight, and weekend work will be required as part of the shift work. The analyst will be available to travel to client locations on occasion.

Requirements

4 to 6 years’ experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response or a related field required
Excellent research, writing, and verbal briefing skills
Excellent analytic skills, including familiarity with analytic techniques.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps.
Effective problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work with little supervision
Ability to adhere to timelines and deadlines with effective time management skills
Establishing and maintaining positive professional rapport with other analysts and SME as well as client contacts
Adhere to applicable information security procedures and policies as updated from time to time on the ISMS
Report any information security incidents or potential information security threats to the Information Security Officer
Take a proactive approach to information security
Flexible hours and work days are required to meet Crisis24 core 24/7 mission
Required to be available to travel to client locations as needed
Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Foreign language and travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and synthesize high-level security threats and trends associated with persons or points of interest using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and databases.
Recognize crisis situations and initiate proactive action using independent judgment and professional training aligned with client standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Produce succinct written and oral assessments that include beneficial analysis.
Conduct employee and traveler safety check-ins.
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to proactively support security measures and responses.
Deliver oral and written intelligence and programmatic briefings to members of the client’s security team, business leadership teams, and other stakeholders.
Use security intelligence platform(s) to monitor POI and social media, and own and implement process improvements in the platform.
Triage various client requests and ensure that the requesters get the information and services they require in a timely manner.
Understand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needs.
Work with security team members and other stakeholders effectively and efficiently.
Support and develop client solutions, processes, and protocols.
Contribute to the maintenance of the client's proprietary program functions.
Proactively leverage existing Crisis24 resources to address gaps in analyses, assessments, capabilities, and data.
Lead in producing specific briefings, presentations, communication documents, or policies.
Maintain client metrics and produce regular reports.
Suggest potential improvements to the program and SOPs to the EIS Manager.
Frequently liaise with the client to better understand their requirements and concerns.
Be consistently engaged daily with teammates, support training, and mentor junior analysts.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of the dedicated client program.
