About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote, on-demand support for legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, they are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Ohio-based Intellectual Property Attorney. This is a remote position with variable hours, expected to be approximately 10+ hours per week.

Requirements

Licensed in good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Intellectual Property Law
Proven self-starter
Comfortable managing legal projects from start to finish
Proficient in technologies that enable successful remote work, such as project management software, electronic document creation, and video conferencing
STELLAR at communicating with clients with confidence about their businesses and cases
EXCELLENT at handling project management and team communication in a virtual Firm environment
At least 5 years of experience in trademark and copyright clearance, registration, transfer, and licensing
At least 5 years of experience in reviewing, drafting and advising clients about crucial contracts like Professional Services Agreements and Independent Contractor Agreements
Knowledge of laws and regulations governing advertising, social media marketing, and influencer marketing
