About The Position

The Integrative Engineering & Technology Solutions (IETS) department is seeking an IETS Analyst to join their growing team. This role offers learning opportunities through independent study, formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job practice, with the goal of developing the knowledge and skills to work autonomously within the IETS team and perform tasks as required. Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers integrates solutions from design to construction through the collaborative efforts of Design Engineering, Design Management, Proposals, Estimating, and Integrated Project Controls. Their construction-focused engineering approach involves a multidisciplinary team working together to maximize value for clients by improving schedules, controlling costs, and minimizing risk on infrastructure projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Smartsheet.
  • Dedication to learn and apply Requirements Management concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute with logical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams within the company.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, apply, and follow applicable company procedures, project requirements, and Systems Engineering standards, including relevant Kiewit Engineering procedures, INCOSE guidance, and ISO/IEEE 15288 principles.
  • Review contract, client, standard, code, and regulation documents to identify, interpret, and document technical and non-technical requirements.
  • Support Requirements Management activities, including requirements capture, definition, allocation, attribute assignment, repository maintenance, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) development.
  • Support Requirements Verification and Validation activities by coordinating discipline input, tracking verification methods, phases, evidence, compliance status, and related review information.
  • Use project tools, templates, trackers, and SharePoint-based workflows to organize requirements information, maintain current project data, and support reporting or dashboard updates.
  • Coordinate and communicate with discipline teams, project stakeholders, and supervisors to collect input, clarify requirements, resolve comments, and complete assigned Systems Engineering tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement of Kiewit Requirements Management and Systems Engineering processes by identifying lessons learned, process gaps, and opportunities to improve templates, workflows, and project execution.
