Integrations & Technical Support Specialist (Remote)

ezCater, Inc
$70,350 - $92,400Remote

About The Position

The Integrations & Technical Support Specialist sits at the center of ezCater's Partner Solutions team, owning the onboarding and ongoing support of API integrations with restaurant brands and third-party vendors. You're the person who makes sure data flows cleanly across our food delivery network — diagnosing issues, training partners, and turning messy integration edge cases into reliable, repeatable connections. It's a role for someone who likes to get into the weeds of an integration, explain it clearly to both engineers and non-technical partners, and collaborate across teams to keep our network humming. You'll grow your technical depth while working shoulder-to-shoulder with Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, Trainers, and Technical Leads.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings and other events, when applicable.
  • Solid understanding of API integrations and how they move data between systems.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting JSON and XML (and a willingness to learn GraphQL if you haven't yet).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with technical integrations — you can form a hypothesis, test it, and narrow down a root cause.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust your explanation to your audience.
  • The ability to stay calm and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Strong grasp of how data relates to business needs and objectives.
  • Curiosity and creativity for solving complex operational catering challenges tied to integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new integrations: Partner with restaurant brands and third-party vendors to onboard new API integrations end to end.
  • Test integrations during onboarding and throughout software development cycles.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and common failure modes so the whole team benefits.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues: Investigate and resolve issues originating in API processes — reading logs, tracing requests, and reproducing errors to find root cause.
  • Interpret and debug data across JSON, XML, and GraphQL payloads.
  • Escalate and collaborate with engineering when an issue needs a code-level fix, with clear, well-documented reproduction steps.
  • Provide technical training to internal teams and external partners as needed.
  • Translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders — and business context for technical ones.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work alongside Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, Trainers, and Technical Leads, and support the broader company on cross-functional issues when needed.
  • Engage regularly with clients and vendors across North America via email, video conferencing, and screen sharing.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for your own learning and engagement as our integrations and tooling evolve.
