Under minimal supervision or direction, the Sr. Integrations Engineer, will be responsible to architect, design, build, testing, training and support of all aspects of integrations (HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, FHIR, and other standard) with EMR’s and other Healthcare IT systems. This position requires little or no supervision as they build, maintain the interfaces and exercise independent judgement and discretion in carrying out day-to-day related activities. This position performs complex design and analysis tasks related to business operations. The Analyst will also act as a mentor to other members of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 3 years' experience building, running, and deploying integrations in a production environment.
  • Epic Bridges Certification with 2 years of experience on Epic.
  • 3 years of experience with Interfaceware - Iguana & Chameleon.
  • Experience supporting multiple Epic go-lives for small, medium and large hospitals.
  • Experience with Python and Lua scripting.
  • Strong experience with Epic, Meditech, Cerner, eClinical Works, NextGen.
  • Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP).
  • Strong experience with Data Conversions.
  • Experience writing Web Services, RESTFUL, or SOAP.
