About The Position

The Integrations Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing high-level IT solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves analyzing system requirements, defining architecture frameworks, and ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and engineers to deliver robust and innovative technology solutions. This role is to focus on robust integration solutions that connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources across the enterprise. This role requires deep expertise in integration patterns, API design, cloud services, and data movement technologies to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure interoperability. Has strong technical expertise in Azure Integration Services (Azure API Management, Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, etc.) and collaborate and consult across cross functional teams including Enterprise, Data and Salesforce architects to develop blueprints, roadmap and best of scalable integrations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT architecture, business architecture, systems design, software development, integration architecture, or infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience designing cloud-native integrations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Azure Certifications (Developer, DevOps Engineer, Administrator, Solutions Architect).
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Strong background in software development (.NET, Java, Python) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, microservices, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Expertise in designing scalable, high-availability systems and hybrid cloud architectures using Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA).
  • Knowledge of data platforms including data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, data hubs, and data governance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities to guide and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience – AI/ML technologies.

  • Certification – TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation certified.
  • Skills – MuleSoft Certified Developer and Platform Architect with hands-on experience using Anypoint Platform, including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center, and API Management.
  • Expertise in migrating from MuleSoft to Azure-based integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security).
  • Experience with hybrid on-prem and cloud architectures.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-level IT architecture solutions, including cloud, infrastructure, applications, and data systems.
  • Evaluate business needs and translate them into technical requirements and architectural blueprints.
  • Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry’s best practices and compliance standards.
  • Lead the integration of new technologies, APIs, and third-party services into existing infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams and oversee the implementation of architectural designs.
  • Conduct system performance analysis, risk assessments, and optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, engineers, and business units, to align IT strategy with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Document architecture standards, policies, and procedures for reference and compliance.
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance integration solutions using modern patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, pub/sub, SOA).
  • Design and optimize data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
  • Establish governance frameworks for integration standards, monitoring, logging, and error handling.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
  • Mentor and guide technical teams on cloud best practices and architectural patterns.
