About The Position

CTI’s paid internship is designed to build fundamental skills through hands-on experience alongside system design and technical integration professionals. Interns complete an AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and real-world project work, and study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The internship is at least ten weeks long, begins May 25, 2027, and is based onsite in Springfield–Chicopee, Massachusetts. Interns work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. The internship pays $17 per hour.

Requirements

• Anticipated associate’s or bachelor’s degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to walk distances, crouch, squat, reach, crawl, climb ladders, work at high elevations and in tight spaces, and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CTI’s AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and hands-on work.
• Work on projects and solve problems through practical experience alongside AV professionals.
• Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
