About The Position

The Integration Specialist will be responsible for configuring and testing complex building control systems to meet contract specifications. This role involves developing and testing essential software programs, loading and commissioning controllers at system and network levels, and validating system functionality. The specialist will troubleshoot issues to ensure peak performance, collaborate with project management and engineering teams, and contribute to creating as-built drawings and software. Additionally, the role includes delivering tailored training to owners or operators on the complete building control system.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum (1) year of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, Space Logic, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
  • Two (2) years experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e LON, BacNet, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings.
