Responsible for the planning and coordination of software integrations within the connected infotainment ecosystem. This role involves leading release planning and smoke testing of software combinations, and providing release recommendations (release OK/NOK). Key responsibilities include configuration management by providing necessary configuration files for testing (ZDC; ODX, OCU data set), offering Level 1 technical support to test teams, and ensuring the timely distribution of releases on fixed dates via email and Confluence. The specialist will maintain vehicle hardware and test resources in alignment with global project teams, which includes swapping ECUs, setting up trace capabilities (CAN, ETH, MLP, OCU, serial2, etc.), and coordinating necessary materials. Ensuring correct vehicle setup, including HW & SW versioning according to build and test management releases, and error-free test resource setup are crucial. The role also involves ensuring proper software configuration of test resources for project events and milestone evaluations, and preparing/supporting test drives for milestone events in the US and Canada. Additionally, the specialist will evaluate product concerns from field products, performing detailed analysis and recommending resolutions with suppliers and component owners globally to prevent side effects in other markets. Collaboration with Quality teams to review field concerns and identify root causes, and defining countermeasures with suppliers and component owners for necessary product changes are also key aspects of this position.
