About The Position

Mach Industries is seeking an Integration Reliability Engineer to develop the methods that enable complex products to be assembled, integrated, tested, and fielded reliably throughout the product lifecycle. You will support integration strategy, build readiness, interface risk management, failure investigation, and reliability growth across product development and production. This role spans Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and field support. The work is hands-on and connected to integration builds, production environments, test activities, and hardware failure investigations in Victorville, Ca..

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, reliability engineering, or a related hardware environment.
  • Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action, or comparable risk and failure-investigation methods.
  • Experience with CNC, welding, and special processes such as NDE, PT, MT.
  • Experience analyzing build, test, or production data to identify process risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, operations, and program teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to work hands-on with complex hardware in integration, production, test, and failure-investigation environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating aerospace, defense, propulsion, robotics, or other complex electromechanical hardware.
  • Experience with interface failure characterization, process capture, control plans, RCCA, or reliability-growth methods.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, design-for-assembly, engineering drawings, specifications, or configuration-control practices.
  • Experience supporting built-to-print assembly, final test, field containment, or nonconformance investigations.
  • Experience working in a startup, high-growth manufacturing, or regulated hardware environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define integration strategies that establish readiness for component, assembly, and production.
  • Conduct risk assessments, and inspection plan reviews for complex products and assemblies.
  • Develop and improve control plans, initial controls, and methods for integrating complete systems.
  • Support component integration, built-to-print assembly, validation activities, and the transition from development into repeatable production.
  • Monitor yield, build health, and process robustness to identify risks affecting throughput and product realization.
  • Lead systemic root-cause and corrective-action investigations for machined, assembly, integration, test, and production issues.
  • Be focus point for existing quality management system (QMS) and integration of scaling QMS
  • Collect and analyze build, test, and field data to improve repeatability, reliability, and engineering decision-making. This includes leading collection of quality system metrics and audits.
