About The Position

The Enterprise Project Manager supports Freeman Health System’s enterprise strategic, operational, clinical, and administrative transformation initiatives by serving as embedded project management, integration, and execution resource across multiple enterprise implementation and performance improvement efforts. This role operates as part of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and supports initiatives spanning clinical operations, nursing, behavioral health, ambulatory and rural health, revenue cycle, administrative services, and non-clinical operations. The position operates as part of enterprise implementation teams and works alongside internal stakeholders and external consulting partners while remaining accountable to Freeman leadership for execution readiness, adoption, and sustained performance improvement. Enterprise Project Managers operate collaboratively as part of a coordinated project management team and are deployed across initiatives based on organizational priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, Finance, Operations, or related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise healthcare initiatives, operational improvement, or integration within a hospital or health system.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and operational areas.
  • Strong understanding of hospital and health system operations, including clinical, operational, or revenue cycle workflows.
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, multidisciplinary healthcare environments.

  • Experience supporting organizational integration, acquisitions, or multi-entity healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an embedded enterprise project management resource supporting strategic initiatives, acquisitions, system implementations, and operational transformations.
  • Translate strategic, operational, clinical, and financial objectives into executable implementation plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Ensure initiatives align with enterprise strategy, operational priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Use operational, clinical, and financial data to validate assumptions, inform planning, and support decision-making.
  • Identify and scale best practices across existing and acquired entities to standardize workflows and improve performance.
  • Establish and track initiative-level performance metrics, milestones, and improvement targets.
  • Develop and maintain executive reporting, dashboards, and implementation workplans.
  • Prepare executive briefings, governance updates, and decision-support materials.
  • Coordinate across operational leaders, executive stakeholders, and integration teams to ensure alignment and execution progress.
