About The Position

The Integration Project Manager SR is responsible for all aspects of assigned UVA Community Health Medical Group projects throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to final implementation using effective project management practices. A key player in growth and development, the Integration Project Manager SR will lead multi-disciplinary teams which include all levels of personnel, vendors, and clients, in the creation and deployment of a UVA Health solution associated with the investment in business growth, enterprise standardization, policy and procedure transitions, constructions, start up, mergers/acquisitions and other assigned projects. The Integration Project Manager SR will also have ownership of directing, facilitating and managing the change control process which includes scope change, budget change, schedule change, and overall performance of project. The Integration Project Manager SR will be responsible for driving change from the business perspective and therefore impact UVA Health's organizational culture. The Integration Project Manager SR will lead performance improvement projects that partners with Medical Group operations. During the project, the Integration Project Manager SR will train the MG operations team members on performance improvement tools and model Performance Improvement leadership for the team to replicate in the future. Collaborating with MG operations, the Integration Project Manager SR will identify and propose Performance Improvement. Must have effective communication, relationship management and overall knowledge of system and departmental capabilities/functions.

Requirements

4 Year / Master's Degree required.
5 year's experience required.
Minimum three years in complex project management.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to coordinate, manage, and achieve project success through time management, follow through and tracking as appropriate.
Ability to effectively communicate with people across organizational charts and structures.
Experience in project management, performance improvement, mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and disruptive business change.
Proven ability to engage stakeholders and achieve consensus.
Action oriented, willing to do what is needed in order to move projects forward in an organized manner with consistent execution.
Act as a catalyst to resolve project issues and conflicts encountered by team members.
Proficient in MicroSoft Office software including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities, as well as the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change.
Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal communications skills.
Engages in active listening, asking questions when appropriate.

Effectively uses various technology communication methods to keep stakeholders informed of progress of projects and/or issues.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare operations experience, including physician practice operations preferred.
MicroSoft Project, Visio, and Access, a plus.
May require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention.
On call responsibilities as directed.
Ability to travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-disciplinary teams which include all levels of personnel, vendors, and clients, in the creation and deployment of a UVA Health solution associated with the investment in business growth, enterprise standardization, policy and procedure transitions, constructions, start up, mergers/acquisitions and other assigned projects.
Direct, facilitate and manage the change control process which includes scope change, budget change, schedule change, and overall performance of project.
Drive change from the business perspective and therefore impact UVA Health's organizational culture.
Lead performance improvement projects that partners with Medical Group operations.
Train MG operations team members on performance improvement tools and model Performance Improvement leadership for the team to replicate in the future.
Identify and propose Performance Improvement in collaboration with MG operations.
Coordinate internal departments, new hires, and vendors to yield integration into UVACH Medical Group, and overall growth.
Manage all aspects of construction, start up and relocation practices with regard to capital, coordination of internal and external departments, timelines, and contingency planning.
Establish and organize priorities, demonstrate initiative, and execute closure within aggressive timelines.
Define objectives, timelines and coordinator of events.
Design, develop, and manager interdependent work plans which incorporate schedules, human capital, and status reporting.
Create resources, guides, manuals, reference materials as identified to enhance transparent communication and consistent messages.
Facilitate and lead multi-disciplinary teams of personnel, vendors, and clients in the test and deployment of assigned projects while monitoring, tracking, and reporting project progress against measurable outcomes.
