About The Position

This position is responsible for installing access control systems, video surveillance and other electro-mechanical products at commercial businesses. PDH Group is a values-driven company that provides and installs Division 8, Division 10, Division 27, and Division 28 products, built on honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. The team brings over 425 years of combined experience.

Requirements

Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Able to lift up to 80lbs.
Ability to work in various weather elements.
Ability to use various hand tools
Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Responsibilities

Installation of new material such as Access control systems (e.g., HID, Mercury).
Install and configure security cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and video management software.
Wire and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT5/6, composite cable, etc.)
Mount and connect electronic door hardware (maglocks, strikes, electrified locks, request-to-exit devices, etc.)
Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment and wiring.
Read and interpret Floor Plans, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and system configurations.
Follow company safety procedures and industry standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA, etc.)
