Job Title: Integration Engineers Employer: EMD Millipore Corporation, 400 Summit Drive, Burlington, MA 01803 Job Location: EMD Millipore Corporation, 80 Ashby Rd., Bedford, MA 01730 This position is eligible for the EMD Millipore Corporation Employee Referral Program. The Integration Engineer will leverage electrical engineering principles to carry out the networking and security implementation for our organization. Telecommuting is available. The employee must work from the office at least three (3) days per week.

Requirements

  • Employer requires a candidate to have at least a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field, and at least three (3) years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer involved in the design, development, and integration of complex IT and OT systems.
  • Demonstrated ability handling Industrial field buses and communication protocols like OPC UA and Ethernet/IP gained through three (3) years of work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of virtualization technology, including VMware and Hyper-V, gained through three (3) years of work experience
  • Demonstrated ability supporting and securing the deployment of life sciences applications and data pipelines in AWS or Azure cloud gained through three (3) years of work experience
  • Demonstrated ability configuring cloud-native networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups) to securely connect lab sites and cloud environments gained through three (3) years of work experience
  • Demonstrated technical ability handling automated systems including PLC (ex: Wago / Allen Bradley /Siemens) and SCADA (ex: Wonderware) gained through three (3) years of work experience
  • All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform the system integration functions for the Infrastructure and Release team
  • Provide support to the digital Bioprocessing platforms team
  • Assist in the development of Bioprocessing systems and applications using industrial PLCs, SCADA, .NET technologies, and Java based microservices with React/JavaScript front-end
