About The Position

Blue Ridge Communications is seeking an Integration Engineer in the Construction Engineering department. This role is responsible for establishing cable routing in the field for new or rebuilt cable systems, handling new line extension inquiries, and managing PenTeleData inquiries. The Integration Engineer will also be involved in utility pole audits, gathering field information and measurements for construction and system design, and communicating with customers regarding their extensions. Additionally, the role involves applying for pole permits, obtaining and notarizing private right of ways and public permits, and working with utility companies on pole relocation and make-ready work. Close collaboration with system designers on fieldwork and performing other related duties are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-5 Years' experience in cable design and construction design
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA Driver's license and good driving record
• Working knowledge of CAD
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
• Ability to read blueprints and/or map drawings
• General knowledge of construction pole line practices
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times

Responsibilities

• Contacting customers with information pertaining to their extension

• Working with utility companies and state projects for pole relocation, make ready work and other duties associated with pole line work
• Working closely with system designers regarding fieldwork on a daily basis
• Performing other related duties and tasks as required
• Other duties as assigned
