Integration Engineer

Vanderlande Industries•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

Vanderlande is a global provider of logistics process automation for airports, parcel markets, and warehouses. Its warehouse solutions integrate mechanical and IT components, software, and life-cycle services. The Integration Engineer is part of the integration team and helps combine system components and subsystems into complete solutions. These may include carrier systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, automated guided vehicles, robots, conveyors, control software, and IT infrastructure. The engineer tests integrated systems against their designs, analyzes technical risks, and may intentionally stress systems to identify problem areas. The role contributes to project success through understanding the overall system, its operational objectives, how components interact, and the technical factors involved in development. Testing is performed in factory and on-site environments, including work supporting PLC and SCADA commissioning.
