About The Position

The Integration Engineer supports the design, development, deployment, and operational support of enterprise integrations that connect business applications, cloud platforms, data systems, and emerging digital technologies. This role works closely with senior engineers, architects, application teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions that enable business processes, automation, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities. Requirements

Foundational knowledge of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and application lifecycle management.
Understanding of enterprise integration concepts, API development, web services, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of data structures, SQL, databases, and data transformation techniques.
Understanding of JSON, XML, CSV, and other commonly used integration formats.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

Up to two years of relevant experience through employment, internships, cooperative education programs, academic projects, or related technical work.
Experience or exposure to enterprise integration, API development, cloud development, software engineering, or application support.
Familiarity with integration platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Informatica, SAP Integration Suite, Kafka, Confluent, or similar technologies.
Exposure to asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures, message queues, streaming technologies, or cloud-native development.
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control tools such as Git.
Experience supporting or integrating ERP, CRM, manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, finance, analytics, intelligent automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
Interest in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and supply chain technologies.
Relevant technical certifications in integration platforms, cloud technologies, or software development are a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise integrations, APIs, and integration services.
Develop and maintain integration components under the guidance of senior engineers, architects, and technical leaders.
Support real-time, event-driven, batch, and near real-time integrations connecting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and data systems.
Build, enhance, and maintain REST APIs and reusable integration services that promote scalability and standardization.
Configure and support data mappings, transformations, and integrations utilizing formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files.
Participate in modernization initiatives that replace legacy and point-to-point integrations with reusable APIs and service-based architectures.
Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, deployment procedures, support guides, and operational runbooks.
Follow established development standards, security requirements, integration patterns, governance practices, and architectural guidelines.
Support source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and release activities.
Monitor integration performance, investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, retry mechanisms, and alerting practices to improve operational reliability.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, security, data, and business teams to deliver effective technology solutions.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support integration capabilities that enable enterprise automation, reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled business solutions.
