About The Position

The Integration Director plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the seamless integration of systems, processes, and technologies across multiple business units within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that integration initiatives align with strategic business objectives, driving operational efficiency and enhancing overall organizational performance. The Integration Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business leadership, to design and implement integration strategies that support scalability and innovation. A key outcome of this role is to minimize disruption during integration projects while maximizing value realization from combined systems and workflows. Ultimately, the Integration Director ensures that all integration efforts contribute to a cohesive and agile enterprise environment that supports long-term growth and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in systems integration, IT project management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale integration projects within complex organizational environments.
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies, middleware, APIs, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills daily to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure integration initiatives meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Technical expertise in integration platforms and middleware enables the director to design robust solutions that connect disparate systems effectively.
  • Communication skills are essential for articulating complex integration concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating alignment and collaboration.
  • Analytical skills are applied to assess integration risks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability allow the Integration Director to navigate evolving business needs and technological advancements, ensuring integration efforts support long-term organizational goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Information Systems.
  • Experience with cloud integration platforms and modern integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar).
  • Certifications in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP) or enterprise architecture (TOGAF).
  • Background in change management and business process reengineering.
  • Experience working in a multinational or highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of complex integration projects across various departments and technology platforms.
  • Develop and maintain integration frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess integration requirements, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and mentor integration teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor integration performance metrics and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to facilitate smooth integration of third-party systems.
  • Communicate integration progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
