About The Position

Fathom Management is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to design, develop, and support scalable integrations across enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will combine strong backend development and API integration skills with an understanding of modern integration architecture and cloud technologies. This position will work across the full integration lifecycle-from design and development through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support. This is an excellent opportunity for an Integration Developer, Integration Engineer, API Developer, or Backend Developer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and connecting internal and third-party systems through reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on software development experience using one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and architectural styles.
Hands-on experience designing and developing APIs and system integrations.
Experience with RESTful services, SOAP, and/or GraphQL.
Working knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, versioning, throttling/rate limiting, and error handling.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Solid understanding of data mapping, transformation, orchestration, and integration across disparate systems.
Experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including development, testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
Experience supporting deployments across multiple environments, such as Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience with one or more enterprise integration platforms, including: MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, Workato, BizTalk
Experience with Azure integration services and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with message queues, event streaming, or pub/sub technologies.
Experience supporting enterprise API management.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
Experience supporting production integration environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end integration solutions spanning backend services, APIs, integration layers, and cloud infrastructure.
Build scalable backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and/or enterprise integration platforms.
Design and implement secure RESTful and enterprise APIs connecting internal and third-party systems.
Apply appropriate integration patterns, including event-driven, asynchronous, pub/sub, ESB, and iPaaS architectures.
Implement API security, authentication, authorization, versioning, throttling, and error-handling standards.
Develop data mapping, transformation, and orchestration solutions across heterogeneous systems.
Build, test, and deploy integration processes throughout the Dev, Test, UAT, and Production lifecycle.
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-deployment production support.
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, data mappings, configuration documentation, and other technical artifacts.
Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to optimize data flows and integration solutions.
Establish and follow integration development standards, design patterns, and best practices.
