About The Position

The Integration Automation Engineer is responsible for helping implement processes required of a data processing pipeline in support of our products and services, with a focus on automating repeatable data movement and orchestration tasks where appropriate. The Integration Automation Engineer's primary responsibilities include implementing ETL (extract, transform, and load) pipelines, monitoring/maintaining data pipeline performance, and identifying opportunities to reduce manual intervention through workflow automation. The Integration Automation Engineer is experienced in data extraction, data exploration, data manipulation, reporting, and evaluating where AI-assisted or rule-based automation can improve data handling efficiency. The ideal candidate has three or more years of experience working on solutions that collect, process, store, and analyze data.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience required with tools such as Celigo, Tray.io, Workato, or Jitterbit, or comparable workflow automation and orchestration platforms
  • Exposure to a variety of systems such as ERP, CRM, and custom systems
  • Experience designing solutions leveraging a diverse assortment of data sources, with the ability to automate repeatable integration patterns.
  • Solid understanding of API and middleware-based integrations, including how to structure them for reliable automated execution.
  • Ability to define and create data flows, and extensible APIs and data formats, that support scalable automation and exception handling.
  • Understanding of various architectures such as SOAP, REST, request-reply
  • Good communication skills for effectively communicating with external and internal clients of APIs
  • Solid team player.
  • Ability to create and document APIs, automation workflows, and operational handoff procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • AI-assisted or rule-based automation can improve data handling efficiency.
  • Three or more years of experience working on solutions that collect, process, store, and analyze data.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design, development, and operations of systems-to-systems interfaces between isolved and its ecosystem of ERP and CRM systems, including orchestration of automated data exchange workflows.
  • Assist with defining and building out data integrations in our various software packages, including reusable automation patterns and standardized integration components where possible.
  • Work with APIs and customers throughout such a process, including gathering requirements for automated data flows and validating exception handling.
  • Work closely with management in finding and implementing solutions, including opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processing.
  • Remove monotonous and error-prone manual data entry with efficient and effective data exchange synchronization, using automation to improve accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
