Integration Architect
About The Position
We are hiring on behalf of our client for a senior Integration Architect to lead enterprise-wide integration strategy across a complex global technology landscape. This is a strategic architecture role focused on defining how systems connect across SaaS, cloud, and on-prem environments. The position combines integration architecture, API governance, and delivery oversight, with a strong focus on API-led and event-driven design. The successful candidate will shape enterprise integration standards, drive architectural consistency, and help build a modern integration operating model across internal teams and external delivery partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in integration architecture, middleware, or enterprise architecture
- Strong expertise in API-led integration design
- Experience with event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with SaaS, cloud, and on-prem integrations
- Strong understanding of integration standards, governance, and architecture best practices
- Experience with iPaaS / middleware platforms (Informatica IDMC preferred)
- Experience working with vendors, system integrators, or managed service providers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in regulated environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise integration architecture across applications and platforms
- Define integration standards, patterns, and best practices
- Drive an API-led and event-driven integration strategy
- Govern API lifecycle management, including design, versioning, security, and documentation
- Design scalable integrations across SaaS, cloud, and on-prem environments
- Review and approve integration designs
- Provide architectural oversight for integration and delivery
- Partner with the architecture, data, application, and security teams
- Guide external vendors and service providers to ensure delivery quality and standards compliance
- Mentor teams and promote integration best practices
