About The Position

Centric Consulting is seeking a mid-level Integration Architect – MuleSoft to solve complex integration challenges and build solutions that connect enterprise systems. The role works hands-on with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to design APIs and reusable integration solutions spanning core banking systems, digital platforms, treasury applications, and other enterprise technologies. The architect will also contribute to modernization, merger, and system conversion initiatives while developing architecture experience. The position is classified as temporary (W2T Consultant) and is hybrid in Columbus, Ohio, or Atlanta, Georgia. Travel is expected 25%–50% between the two offices, with occasional travel to Nashville. The role collaborates with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and delivery teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Understanding of APIs, RESTful services, web services, integration patterns, data transformation, and API-led connectivity.
Ability to solve technical problems and translate requirements into practical integration solutions.
Collaborative communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with banking or financial services technology.
MuleSoft certifications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, RESTful services, web services, and event-driven integrations.
Build reusable API-led integrations, transformation logic, and orchestration processes connecting core banking systems, digital platforms, treasury applications, and other enterprise technologies.
Contribute to integration architecture and solution design, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with technical standards.
Support application modernization, merger, and conversion initiatives.
Partner with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Apply API security, governance, and development best practices.
Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, troubleshooting, and solution improvements.
Collaborate in an Agile delivery environment and participate in planning, refinement, reviews, and other delivery ceremonies.
Troubleshoot integration issues and identify practical solutions to technical challenges across interconnected applications and services.
