About The Position

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking an Integration / API Engineer to build and operate interfaces between Army work-request and financial systems and IBM Maximo, including adapters, message queues, data mappings, exception queues and automated reconciliation, so that work, cost and asset records match across systems without manual re-entry. This is an immediate opening.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building integrations (REST APIs, message queues and event-driven patterns).
  • Maximo Integration Framework experience.
  • Production experience with message-based integration and failure recovery.
  • Strong SQL and data-mapping skills.
  • Experience working within Government test and production environment approval processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.

  • SAP-based financial system interfaces.
  • Army work-request and financial systems.
  • Idempotent and outbox delivery patterns.
  • Familiarity with OWASP secure coding practices.

  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.
  • Azure Developer or integration certification preferred.
  • CompTIA Security+ required if granted privileged access.

Responsibilities

  • Develop adapters and data mappings between Army work-request records, financial cost objects, and Maximo work and asset records.
  • Implement reliable message delivery (outbox pattern, retries with backoff, idempotent consumers and version checks) with an accountable exception queue and replay.
  • Build automated reconciliation and exception dashboards.
  • Produce interface control documents and test evidence for system-owner approval.
  • Monitor interface health, perform root-cause analysis on failures, and support security incident reporting when interfaces are involved.
  • Follow secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP guidance), use source control and participate in code reviews.
  • Use least-privilege service accounts and protect secrets and credentials.
  • Follow change management processes for interface changes, including approval, testing and rollback plans.
