Your greatest work is ahead! Leidos’ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking a Integration Engineer Team Lead. We are a diverse team that works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including but not limited to kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms as well as RADAR and other surveillance and sensor technologies. Our team works across multiple business sectors, with industry partners, and directly with the customer. Requirements

  • An ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or electrical engineering with 12+ years of experience or 10+ years with MS.
  • Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
  • Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Five to eight years of experience with test planning and execution.
  • Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator).
  • Working knowledge and operation of environmental test equipment (e.g. thermal chamber, shock and vibe table, etc.).
  • Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, or equivalent commercial or industrial testing.
  • Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and WireShark.
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management.
  • Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
  • Creating, modifying, and executing test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
  • Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
  • Performing test data analysis and generating test reports from that analysis.
  • Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
  • Debugging software and/or hardware with various tools.
