About The Position

Four Sea Group is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer specializing in software integration to establish, integrate, troubleshoot, and stabilize complex software environments supporting secure customer missions. This role contributes to Four Sea Group’s ability to transform independently developed applications, commercial software, infrastructure, and supporting services into reliable operational capabilities. The engineer will serve as a senior technical resource across software and infrastructure boundaries, helping programs resolve difficult integration challenges, maintain controlled software baselines, and improve the repeatability of installation, configuration, and deployment activities. The ideal candidate combines a strong software-engineering foundation with advanced Linux, scripting, cloud, container, CI/CD, and configuration-management experience. This role requires broad technical judgment, ownership of integration approaches within the assigned environment, and the ability to guide teams through complex problems affecting program readiness, stability, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ten or more years of relevant software engineering, software integration, DevOps, system integration, or application-deployment experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance needed to start with CI Poly required.
  • Substantial object-oriented programming experience supporting enterprise-level applications using established software patterns.
  • Advanced experience integrating and supporting multi-tiered, distributed, or microservice-based applications.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and integrating commercial off-the-shelf and custom-developed software.
  • Experience establishing, configuring, or leading software integration and test environments.
  • Strong experience analyzing application and infrastructure logs and resolving complex software, environment, and configuration issues.
  • Advanced experience working in Linux environments.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience using Git-based version control and collaborative configuration workflows.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable container technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining configuration-management processes for software baselines.
  • Ability to define integration approaches and independently resolve complex issues spanning multiple technical domains.
  • Ability to communicate technical risks, dependencies, decisions, and tradeoffs to engineering, program, and customer stakeholders.
  • Experience guiding technical work or coordinating integration activities across multiple engineering teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • All candidates must work in-person in Aurora (no virtual).
