About The Position

This role involves implementing software products in healthcare/technology environments, specifically focusing on the CareAware Device Integration. Requirements

  • At least 6 total years of combined higher education and related work experience implementing software products in healthcare/technology environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Business or Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field of study or relevant, equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and/or laboratory analyzers
  • Understanding of clinical workflows in areas of healthcare facilities such as ED, ICU, Med Surg, Laboratory, and Perioperative units
  • 1 year of technical troubleshooting and problem solving
  • 1 year experience of Linux platform knowledge or other related technologies
  • 1 year experience of SQL, relational databases, or other query-based languages
  • 1 year experience with application of basic networking principles (DNS, TCP Connections)
  • Knowledge or CareAware architecture
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including a high level of comfort interacting with internal and external stakeholders up to mid-level management

Responsibilities

  • Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
