Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for an experienced senior level Master Planner. In this role, you will partner with Program Management drive all phases of program planning from inception through completion to architect, develop, and manage the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule to meet program strategic objectives. This job requires on site attendance and sometimes extra hours for short term projects or proposals including nights and weekends.

Requirements

  • Exposure to Network scheduling tools (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc.)
  • Experience with networked schedules, critical path methodology
  • Experience presenting to team members and project teams
  • Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g., Earned Value Management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project (preferred), @Risk, OnePager Pro
  • Earned Value Management experience
  • Prior experience creating/maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule Network
  • Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule
  • Proposal development experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations
  • Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple discipline
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering; finance and business operations; and program management while working within the planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline
  • Create and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between partners
  • Assist in negotiating hand-offs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required
  • Will serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering
