The Apertures and Radio Frequency Department is a team of engineers responsible for electrical design and development of RF products within Raytheon. Our charter is to provide expertise in sub-systems engineering, RF and radome design, digital apertures, antenna ranges and module test.

Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following: Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Systems engineering, Arrayed antennas, Monolithic microwave integrated circuits, Radio Frequency (RF) modules, Beam forming architectures, Power and Thermal, Beam control firmware/software
Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs)
Experience with leading multi-disciplinary project teams through structured systems engineering, integration, and test activities and detailed planning to achieve on-time/on-schedule execution.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Experience interfacing with technical engineers, production personnel and support personnel.
Presenting to upper-level management.
Providing leadership to drive tasks to completion to support budget and schedule

Responsibilities

Lead a multi-disciplined project team in Radio Frequency (RF) design and development activities.
Problem solving production and test issues
Manage design and production budget and program schedule
Prepare and present technical issues for program leadership and customer briefings
Work with a highly motivated, multi-disciplined, and experienced team of engineers and factory personnel
