About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, California. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Requirements

3+ years of Project or Program management experience
3+ years of experience developing and integrating program-level master schedules
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience leading a team or a project
Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool
Strong communication skills
U.S. Citizenship required for Security Clearance
Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
OPP scheduling tool experience
Experience working with large data sets required (e.g. advanced Excel, Power Point, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)

Responsibilities

Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
