About The Position

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Integrated Logistics Specialist. As an Integrated Logistics Specialist, you will work PMS 396L and be responsible for ensuring proper configuration management processes throughout the modernization and sustainment of in-service strategic submarines. This role includes working with contracts and acquisition for submarine operation, sustainment, maintenance, and modernization. This position supports PMS 396 which is part of Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager Submarines (DRPM SUBS), Program Acquisition Executive Undersea (PAE UNDERSEA), and Team Submarine (TSUB).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field
  • 7 years’ experience in configuration management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
  • Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Excellent client interface skills.
  • Must work individually and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative.
  • A Secret Clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background in configuration management, particularly in DoD environments, with the ability to maintain traceability, repeatability, and accountability for all configuration items across complex modernization and sustainment efforts.
  • Technical expertise in configuration management, understanding of DoD processes, and the ability to adapt these skills to the strategic submarine environment.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting military and DoD clients.
  • Experience working with Navy Program Offices, especially NAVSEA or Team Submarine.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with HM&E and NPES Configuration Data Managers on all Configuration Management issues, including outstanding tasks and workload prioritization.
  • Own and drive monthly stakeholder synchronization meeting aimed at driving down backlog of CDM tasks.
  • Ensure alignment of internal and external Configuration Management stakeholders towards common goals.
  • Manage and facilitate processes and outcomes in support of Configuration Management including but not limited to: LAR review and comment; ECP evaluation and analysis and transition of Columbia Class submarines to in-service.
  • Ensure PMS 396 leadership is prepared for and briefed (as needed) for all Configuration Review and Configuration Control Board meetings.
  • Maintain and mature existing Configuration Management Plan for Ohio Class submarines. Emphasis on end-of-life support and Columbia Class transition are essential to platform Configuration Management and sustainment success.
  • Develop and manage enterprise stakeholder relationships in support of Configuration Management.
  • Create strategies and implement solutions to Configuration Management challenges and obstacles.
  • Facilitate and guide monthly Ohio Class Configuration Management Working Group with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Provide on-site technical fleet support to PACNROWEST In Service SSBN/SSGN units: Receive, process, and track Material Support Problem Identification sheets.
  • Provide direction and training for COSAL Maintenance actions.
  • Provide routine reconciliations to assigned units, Group and ISIC.
  • Provide on-site fleet support for Cannibalizations: Prevent, track and support cannibalization and cannibalization paybacks.
  • Provide routine updates to stakeholders.
  • Utilize eCANNAB, PRIME, and other web-based programs to provide tracking.
  • Create strategies and implement solutions for critical repair and reverse engineering efforts.
  • Prepare Ad Hoc reports as required by the client.
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of acquisition efforts.
