About The Position

This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability. Amentum is seeking highly accomplished intelligence professionals to serve as Team Leads supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Integrated Intelligence Centers (IICs). Team Leads provide operational leadership, technical oversight, and personnel management for multidisciplinary intelligence teams supporting regional and functional mission portfolios across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. These leaders ensure intelligence products meet the highest standards of analytic tradecraft while mentoring personnel, maintaining mission readiness, and driving operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 12 years of intelligence experience supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other national security organizations.
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated experience supporting a geographic region, Combatant Command, or functional intelligence mission area (such as Military Forces, Collection Management, HUMINT, Counterintelligence, Cyber, OSINT, Intelligence Planning, Mission Integration, or related intelligence disciplines) aligned with the assigned Integrated Intelligence Center.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary intelligence professionals within complex operational environments.
  • Experience managing regional or functional intelligence mission portfolios.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing intelligence products for analytic rigor, quality, and compliance with Intelligence Community standards.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing mission requirements while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring, developing, and retaining high-performing intelligence professionals.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and executive briefing skills.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DIA, DDGI, the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, NSA, NGA, CIA, ONI, DCSA, or other Intelligence Community organizations.
  • Previous experience serving as a Team Lead, Branch Chief, Division Chief, Mission Manager, Government Technical Lead, or equivalent leadership role.
  • Experience applying Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Structured Analytic Techniques, and Intelligence Community tradecraft standards.
  • Experience leading cross-functional intelligence integration efforts spanning multiple organizations and mission partners.
  • Experience supporting contract transitions, workforce stand-up, or surge operations.
  • Demonstrated record of building collaborative, mission-focused teams that consistently deliver exceptional customer support and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary intelligence teams supporting assigned Integrated Intelligence Centers.
  • Provide operational and technical leadership across assigned mission portfolios.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop intelligence professionals.
  • Review intelligence products to ensure analytic rigor, quality, and compliance with Intelligence Community tradecraft standards.
  • Coordinate directly with Government leadership regarding mission priorities, staffing, and resource requirements.
  • Allocate personnel and resources across dynamic operational requirements.
  • Support workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Maintain mission continuity during organizational changes, surge operations, and evolving mission priorities.
  • Foster collaboration across regional and functional intelligence organizations.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and mission excellence.
  • Continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.
  • Conform to the Amentum Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts.
