About The Position

The Integrated Disability & Absence Management Administrator serves as the operational leader of Telecare’s integrated disability, leave of absence, and accommodation programs. This role provides day-to-day oversight, leadership, and technical guidance to the Disability & Absence Management team, ensuring consistent, compliant, and people-centered service delivery across all regions. Acting as the primary operational resource and escalation point, this position translates strategic direction from the Director, Risk & Disability Management into measurable outcomes. The Program Manager/Administrator ensures regulatory compliance, system integrity, workflow optimization, audit readiness, and service level adherence across all IDAM functions. This role ensures strategic alignment across leave of absence, accommodation, and workers’ compensation integration processes to support a cohesive disability management framework. In partnership with the Workers’ Compensation leadership structure, this position promotes consistency in documentation standards, interactive process coordination, and risk mitigation practices. This position also plays a key role in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies, policies, and training that strengthen Telecare’s overall disability and absence management framework. The Integrated Disability & Absence Management Administrator is both a strategic thought partner and an operational expert, responsible for managing a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Risk Management, or related business field and two (2) years' experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis in leave or disability management; OR equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
  • Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) – DMEC, Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), Workers’ Compensation Professional (WCP) or similar credential
  • Seven (7) years’ experience of progressive Human Resources experience with demonstrated expertise in high-volume, multi-state case management.
  • Demonstrated experience advising and influencing managers and senior leaders on complex employee relations, leave, disability, and compliance matters.
  • Experience managing people, including oversight of performance, accountability, and operational consistency across geographic regions.
  • Advanced knowledge of leave administration, disability management, and legal protections under applicable leave and/or disability state and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise strategies into operational execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership in training, facilitation, and presenting to both senior leadership and frontline managers.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and leadership maturity, including the ability to navigate sensitive employee matters with discretion, empathy, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and case management platforms (UKG, Workday, Pulpstream, Matrix, or similar).
  • Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
  • If the position requires driving, a valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
