About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the ICU and Acute Care setting. The role involves direct patient care, patient teaching, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The nurse will be responsible for the full nursing process and may be required to work on other units or shifts based on staffing needs and patient acuity. New hires will receive tailored training and extended orientation.

Requirements

• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotations.
• Must be willing to cross-train and float to Med Surg and ED settings.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Previous experience preferred in critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching. Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
